i like mascara and eyeliner. although i wouldn't say I wear miles of it. certainly, most people don't really notice I have it on. everyday makeup should really only be used to enhance your natural looks. i think the only time crazy makeup is called for is for artistic purposes, such as halloween or photoshoots.
i wear makeup every day, although i do take great care to not go overboard ... i look fine without makeup, but i'm really pale and flourescent lighting makes me look practically transparent, and i'm really sensitive about being made fun of for lacking the ubiquitous tan, so i feel like if i'm going anywhere with flourescent lights, i have to wear at least some amount of makeup to keep myself from being washed away.
but i can still agree that too much makeup is bad, right? because when i can see the foundation cracking on someone's face, or see where they've covered up their blemishes, only to leave weird skin-colored bumps, it makes me shiver. maybe there's really nothing wrong with it, or maybe my perfectionist self is crying out in pain at the easily preventable flaws. whatever it is, too much makeup (which is synonymous with badly applied makeup) is just bad. i wouldn't go so far as to say i hate it, but i would definitely say that it is a nuisance, visually.
